Medical Acupuncture

A workshop in the application and use of Medical Acupuncture techniques.  By the end of the 2 days all participants will be able to effectively use Medical Acupuncture to treat a wide range of common musculoskeletal conditions you encounter in every day practice.

The course will cover indications and contra-indications, traditional aspects of acupuncture, trigger points and identification of needle points, needling techniques, responses and side effects, treatment planning, acupuncture techniques for specific muscular conditions, medico-legal aspects, equipment and suppliers.

• The 2 day course is 100% practical training, students must be aware they will be required to practice and demonstrate acupuncture techniques on each other
• A course handbook and needles will be supplied.
• Students will be certificated in the use of Medical acupuncture
• This course is recognised by Balens Insurance and has 16 hours CPD
